Muchid Albintani, born in Kijang, Bintan Islands, Riau Archipelago, Indonesia [near Singapore]. Graduate Department Government Sciences, University of Riau [Bachelor 1994]. Degree Master of Philosophy [M.Phil] at the Malaysia National University [UKM] in 2004. Degree of Doctor of Philosophy [PhD], earned at the same university in 2014. He currently works as Lecturer [Civil Service] in the Department Government Sciences, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences [FISIP], Riau University, Pekanbaru, Indonesia. Active researcher at the Center for Study ASEAN Community in Riau University. Has published the best-selling version in Gramedia Bookstore Pekanbaru. An entitled, "From Freedom of Riau to Zero Autonomous [Dari Riau Merdeka Sampai Otonomi Nol], and book, “On the Border Interest Hunting: Developmentalism Refuse in Riau Archipelago”. [Berburu Renter di Perbatasan: Menolak Pembangunanisme di Riau Kepulauan]. Before becoming a lecturer, professional experience working in journalism, starting from Riau Pos Group [Daily Morning Riau Pos, Padang Express Editor, Managing Editor Sagang Culture Magazine, Editor Sunday Riau Pos, Opinion Editor Riau Pos]. Experience outside Riau Pos Group is Indonesia correspondent for Business Economic Daily, weekly news magazine Tempo in Malaysia. He was a member of the Indonesian Board of Hypnotherapy [IBH] Jakarta, and holders of certificates Hypnotherapy [CHT] and Instructor Certificate [CI] of IBH Jakarta, Indonesia.
